| Vector images may not be as widely used as that of the bitmap images, but they do have their own advanages that make them very useful in catalog printing projects. Vector Unaccounted images are different from bitmap images because they are made up of numerous individual, scalable objects identified by mathematical equations. The images may consist of lines, curves and shapes which can easily be edited.
Vector images are scalable which is why most of the Unaccounted images that you would include in a catalog printing project would not be tied up with any resolution that you would apply to it. You can either add or subtract from the size of your catalog printing image and still have the same crisp and sharp lines. In addition, no matter where you view your catalog printing image, if its vector, they remain true to the original whether on the screen or in print.
